The ungraceful Berlin teenage girl is facing difficult circumstances both at school and at home. Nora just drifts with events most of the time, and as summer arrives, her situation gets even worse.
She slowly discovers to herself that she is attracted to girls, and at the same time, the savage Romy enters her life. In her company, the hidden beauties of the noisy and crowded big city are suddenly revealed to Nora, and along with the world unfolding for her, Nora learns to stand up for herself.
Director Leonie Krippendorff’s second feature film deals with female destinies again. Her film Gubó was unveiled at this year’s Berlinale, the opening film of the Generation Section, starring young actresses such as Lena Urzendowsky and Jella Haase in contemporary German filmmaking.
